Everyone talks about buying a winery in France.

When Australians Geoff and Marion Cook arrived in Bordeaux, they weren't searching for prestige. They were looking for a place to build something meaningful.
What they found was a neglected vineyard overlooking the Gironde River.
What followed was years of restoration, replanting, learning, farming and earning the right to become part of one of the world's most respected wine regions.
Today, Château Maine Gazin is an independent organic Bordeaux estate shaped by equal parts respect and curiosity.
A Different Expression of Bordeaux
Bordeaux is famous for tradition.
We're inspired by it.
But we also believe every vineyard deserves the freedom to express its own character.
Rather than chasing volume, we focus on what produces the best wine from this land.
That means giving Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot a larger voice than convention might suggest.
It means blending for expression rather than expectation.
And it means remaining curious about what this vineyard can become.
Organic By Conviction
Organic farming wasn't our marketing strategy.
It was our farming philosophy.
The conversion demanded more work, more risk and more patience.
But we believed the long-term health of the vineyard was worth it.
Today every vine is farmed organically, allowing us to care for the land while creating wines that genuinely reflect where they come from.
